Best Live Music Restaurants in Northshore

A delicious brunch and so nice to see the musicians. They went table to table and took requests. The place is beautiful. It was a leisurely brunch (took 2 hours) with service on the slow side. Make sure you aren’t in a rush. The food was fantastic! Everyone in our party gobbled up their entrees and we all split the king cake for dessert. It is New Orleans after all.

The food was fabulous. If you want good service with a great steak come here. We sat at the piano bar and had a wine prior to dinner the piano player was exception both playing and singing. We started with the chopped salad that had a really good Italian dressing.. My husband and I had the bone in ribeye with a loaded baked potato with sautéed onion and mushrooms. Was scrumptious. Highly recommend. It has an old school steak house feel. Very dark and sexy atmosphere. The service was outstanding. .

From me: let me paint you a picture. First, think of the most idealized version of a strawberry/basil martini and that’s what was delivered as my drink. It truly lived up to the hype the waitress claimed. Next, the pork belly actually wasn’t just fat. It came with actual meat to chew and enjoy and the sweet potatoes it rests on is to die for. The steaks lived up to all expectations with the peppercorn crust and piping hot plate to keep it warm throughout the meal. But lastly, the star of the show was the cheesecake. If I had to describe our meal, it would be a ramp where the very top of the experience was desert. We’re talking about locally sourced honey on top of a light and airy chiffon cheesecake with just a dollop of champagne icing and a scoop of fruit. It was incredible and totally worth every penny. Our serve staff Jaxson and Stephanie were exceptional and the managers were so kind to check on us multiple times. We love this place and recommend it to anyone interested in a high end meal that’s worth the price. From my wife: GET THE CHEESECAKE!!!!!!!! seriously though, you won’t be disappointed at any point in your meal. It’s phenomenal food, amazing drinks, and the best staff you could imagine.

Wonderful as always. This is one of our favorite restaurants on the Northshore. Valentine’s Day was wonderful here!

Couldn’t say better things about our experience at the Palace Cafe. We enjoyed a spectacular Valentine’s Dinner here. We sat upstairs amidst a wonderful love-themed playlist. Many places were doing prefix menus which isn’t ideal for those with too many dietary restrictions and thankfully they were also extremely accommodating for all of their dishes so we could get exactly what we wanted. Ligelle (not sure if I spelled his name right) was a phenomenal server. An absolute class act with perfect suggestions and willingness to go the extra mile for us. We started by splitting the Beet and Marscarpone Salad - absolute incredible. My wife ordered Steak Frites (normally a lunch item, but they were willing to make it) and I ordered the Andouille Crusted Fish and both dishes were divine. We both ordered the Bananas Foster which Ligelle made right at our table and we were incredible impressed with its simple yet elegant flavor and presentation. Highly recommend the Palace Cafe!
