- KKathyChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWe attended the Monday before Christmas for High Tea. The ambience was superb. We had carolers and a harpist playing in the background along with a variety of delicious treats at our table. Definitely an experience I would do again!More infoThe Palm CourtPrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Gold Coast / Streeterville•4.6

Most authentic French restaurant I know of in the Chicagoland area. Our server Paris was excellent, food, service all exceeds expectations. - KKenniseChicago / Illinois •14 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agothe noise level was obnoxious. the DJ had a practically empty restaurant and she played loud techno music with willful disregard for the impact on a mostly empty restaurant and a few tables of guests trying to enjoy DELICIOUS food. The space is beautiful. The food is delicious though I found the fish stew disappointedly oily and less enjoyable than I hoped. I will return and recommend it BUT a bit of "reading the room" is indicated. She is the only person who seemed to enjoy her loud musicMore infoEliaPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Bucktown / Wicker Park•4.5
- JJamalChicago / Illinois •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoMy friends and I had a wonderful dining experience at Mastro’s to celebrate my friend James’s birthday. The atmosphere was elegant and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a special occasion. The wagyu meatballs were slightly undercooked for my taste, possibly due to my preference for a different beef type. That said, the sea bass stole the show, it was absolutely exceptional, the best I’ve ever had at any restaurant. The sides were also perfectly prepared. The staff and management did a good job of touching our table, checking in to ensure we had a great experience. For dessert, we were treated to the buttercake as part of the birthday celebration. My daughter had highly recommended it, and it lived up to the hype. We all had a fantastic time, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit.More infoMastro's Steakhouse - ChicagoPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• River North (Chicago)•4.6
