- FFredMinneapolis - St. Paul •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoEvery employee there is so energetic and engaged. You couldn’t help but feel extremely welcomed. I’d say that was just the Holiday spilling over, but that’s always the way it is at Smack Shack when I’ve been there in the past. Our server was completely attentive, even when we threw him a couple of ‘audibles’. Even the big guy bringing the food out was outstanding. Great team! And then there is the food. Without hesitation, I would say second to none!!!More infoThe Smack ShackPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Downtown / North Loop•4.6

We ended up by an outdoor door so there was a slight cold draft but otherwise a perfect experience! Kat our server and Sam the bartender were top notch!More infoThe Howe Daily KitchenPrice: Moderate• American• Longfellow•4.7
- GGaryVIPMinneapolis - St. Paul •21 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 11, 2024My wife and I had an excellent experience at the Beacon Public House. We were greeted by our hostess upon arrival and taken to our reserved table. Our waitress was Meili. She was super attentive and very friendly. We had ordered some appetizers and some cocktails to start off followed by a rueben sandwich with sweet potato fries. Very good. Meili stopped over to check up on things several times during our meal which was much appreciated. The restaurant is very close to UMn sporting events which makes this location ideal. After the game we attended, we came back for a nightcap. Our bartender Mara did an excellent job with our cocktails and was also very friendly. This restaurant has a great location, good food and an excellent service staff. We will definitely be coming back again.More infoBeacon Public House - Graduate MinneapolisPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Downtown / North Loop•4.6
- LlizaMinneapolis - St. Paul •3 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 10, 2024With a name like The Newsroom, I was not expecting a sports bar atmosphere. I was expecting it to be themed like a Newsroom. Server, Jake, was great. The brie bites were wonderful. And we made it to the theater on time.More infoThe News RoomPrice: Moderate• American• Downtown / North Loop•4.3
