Best Restaurants with Great Beer in False Creek

I'll start off by saying that I'd go to this restaurant again. It was busy on the night we went, so it was loud. We opted to sit on the dining room side rather than the lounge side. We made reservations and the host was friendly and seated us immediately. The dining room side was a mix of booths and individual tables. Both options seemed outdated and plain. We were greeted by our server quickly and we put in our drink orders. We received our drinks in a timely manner and gave our server our order. The roasted corn guacamole was delicious. My son devoured the ahi club sandwich and claimed it was amazing. I had the steak and sushi, the steak was prepared perfectly and was very tasty, the sushi was average. My wife ordered a sushi roll which was good with the dipping ponzu sauce. The dessert, warm doughnuts, were so good. I would definitely recommend JOEY Burrard if your looking for something a little more than casual dining.

I can’t tell you much I appreciate that you have both. Kids menu and a plant based section on your menu! It’s so nice to find a modern, yet casual, restaurant that can accommodate the needs of my whole family. I also really appreciate that you have tofu for your plant based diners, because a lot of places that have vegan options only serve you vegetables, and vegans want/need/deserve protein, too!! So happy with our experience at tap & barrel!!

Great for large groups and for kids! Will definitely come back.

It was my first visit to Vancouver from NJ so I was on the hunt for the best poutine. This place did not disappoint! I had the best burger, poutine, and local ale ever with the best view and the kindest waiter. Thank you, Jordan!
