Hopstix boasts Robata Grill, Raw Bar and Beer Bar, a dining area that sits up to 85 people, and a 1100sf private room with a 12'x12' full view glass garage door that brings outdoor inside. Robata originates from a centuries-old country style cooking by northern Japanese fishermen around a communal hearth (Irori) that serves both as a cooking area and a source of heat, found on the northernmost island of Japan, Hokkaido.

I picked this place by throwing darts at a map because I wanted something new. It exceeded expectations in every way. It’s a great blend of nice ambiance but not too formal. All the food and beer was great and we had a fantastic server.

As usual, a great experience. Our waiter also was very patient with our group including a couple of energetic young ladies (7 and 8). He also helped me navigate some pretty old gift cards, which I was grateful for.
