Best Restaurants with Great Beer in Acton

I went to The Tavern with a group of friends to celebrate a friends birthday. Food and service were both great. Victoria, our server, was great. She made us feel welcome, acknowledged our friends birthday, gave us plenty of time to catch up without rushing us to order and came right over to help when she saw us trying to take a group pic.

One meal came out incorrect vs what was ordered. The GOOD news is that our waitress immediately placed the correct order and comped the incorrect order. The bad news is that everyone was almost finished eating when the correct meal finally arrived. Overall, happy with this experience but had to knock off a star due to the meal glitch. We were over 10 people so not surprising there was one pretty big issue.

amazing place!! very ambient, dishes were both gorgeous and delicious and not too expensive. definitely recommend getting the oysters (duh) -- i don't love raw seafood, but their oysters were incredible. the lobster bisque was super rich and creamy, and the calamari was very well-fried and paired with a fantastic sauce. the highlight for me was the lobster roll with the most amazing french fries ever!! (and my brother's mac and cheese was delicious)

Really nice meal - all of the food was excellent and the service was the perfect pace for us. Overall it was great food and excellent value for the price paid - higher end seafood and meals than expected at a fair price point.

I went here with a friend for lunch. It was absolutely delicious and we split the sweet chili cauliflower and a small special vodka chicken meatball flatbread. Everything was very good and our waitress was excellent!
