Opened on December 13, 2014 (yes, 12/13/14!) in a historic building at the corner of Woodward and Canfield. The Huma Room on the second floor features half of a black 1973 Cadillac Fleetwood mounted behind the wall and an outdoor patio. Located on Woodward Ave, it's easy to jump on the QLine or walk down to Little Caesars Arena, Comerica Park, or Ford Field. HopCat was founded on the principles of bringing local craft beer a bit closer to the communities we love.     The environment was nice, friendly staff. Service was adequate. Food was nothing special. To be fair, we are older, than the audience they are looking for. Others in their 20s and early 30s were celebrating different events and were provided with a disco ball ambience, sparkler, and loud music. It has a club vibe, felt the food was secondary to the cocktails and vibe. Give it a 7 for ambience and vibe, but again I don’t believe we are their intended customer base. If you are between 20 and 30 and a party person you will not be disappointed

    Management there Alicia was Amazon along with our server Kayla. Being in the service industry myself it was amazing to see how fast and efficient the team was . Additionally it was energetic upbeat and lively. I will be back!
