Today’s was tomato basil served in a tea cup. It was excellent. Then, the tea trays were brought. We each got selection of savories. One is always the traditional cucumber sandwich, then an egg salad in a croissant, a ham and cheese on wheat, a sandwich of creamy feta and tomato and one other. There were also mini broccoli and cheese quiche and turkey pot pie. Thipose we’re hot and delicious. All are beautifully presented small portions and were excellent. Then a sweet selection of mini blueberry scone and ??? and fruit tart with a selection of Devonshire cream and raspberry preserves and lemon curd. Also mini and so wonderful. There were also macaroons, assorted. Everything is one or 2 bites but there’s so much, and it’s all delicious, you’re very full when done. Your tea keeps on pouring and you have a restful, relaxing. Day to enjoy.More infoClockwork Rose Tea EmporiumPrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Beaverton•4.9

Highly recommend the s’mores as a dish for two to share… it was a whole experience with a surprise at the end.More infoBellpine at The Ritz-Carlton PortlandPrice: Very Expensive• American• Northwest Portland•4.6

- DDyannePortland / Oregon •3 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 5, 2024My husband loves Afternoon tea so we celebrated his 55th birthday at Sweet Peas this past week. We had a wonderful time and the tea and room was a celebration of the holiday season. The lovely ladies who run this tea room do such a great job. The sandwiches were full of flavor, the sweets were delicious and the scones nice and crumbly (as they should be) I would say my only disappointment would be that the cream for the scones is just whipped cream and not clotted cream as is tradition. But I know that it’s hard to make traditional clotted cream with our rules against unpasteurized dairy. They serve one type of tea as per the season, and at first I was disappointed as we like to choose our own separate teas. But the seasonal tea (Clementine Clove) was delicious. When we were asking about 2 of the for purchase teas on display, they asked if we would like sample a small pot of them. This was excellent service as we didn’t like them at all. But we really enjoyed the Clove tea and ended up purchasing a bag of it. We will definitely come back again in summer to experience their summer menus. Also, as far as Afternoon tea, the cost per person is VERY reasonable.More infoSweet Peas Tea RoomPrice: Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Battle Ground•4.9
