- JJaniceLas Vegas •2 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoWonderful romantic, classy but with a modern vibe restaurant located on the beach. Breathtaking marble floor with outstanding fireplace. We were celebrating a special birthday and were greeted at the door with warm and upbeat attitude. Wait staff was absolutely amazing. Menu is French Seaside American. Limited menu with one special. Loved the signature cocktail list. Onion soup was outstanding. Our food was good but did not live up to the rest. Very pricey for everything and there was a disconnect from food to high price.More infoAvenuePrice: Expensive• French• Long Branch•4.4
- MMARYNew York City •142 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThis is the BEST fine dining restaurants in Monmouth County. Tuesday night and it was a full house. The food is outstanding -no matter what you order. Never had a bad meal here and have been several times. The sevice staff is well-trained and VERY knowledgeable of the menu and VERLY pleasant. Dan was our waiter this time and he couldn't have been more helpful and had suggestions for making a great dining experience. The pork chop is well worth the price as are any of the dishes I have had. Good for casual meal or celebrations. My suggestions are creation of another 618 at the shore area and open for lunch. Always worth the drive but not always able to make the trip.More info618Price: Moderate• American• Freehold•4.9
- DDonaldNew York City •8 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoOverall: The food was excellent, the service impeccable, but the noise level was too high. It was difficult to hear our waiter as he offered up the specials of the day and for him to hear us when we responded. It was also impossible to keep up a conversation with the person sitting next to me due to the noise from several other tables. Atmosphere: I noticed some minimal attention to noise damping was done - small panels on the walls - but the ceiling is too hard a surface with too many reflective angles in it for that small effort to succeed. The only answer is more noise control (there was a reason restaurants used to be carpeted) or spacing out the diners more and having fewer customers in the dining room. Elimination of the glass, or even just drapes, over the front glass storefront windows, would also help. The white tablecloths and napkins are very nice, as was the sparkling glassware and silverware. The table didn't wobble. Prices: Are fair - but high. The food deserved the prices, but be forewarned, a couple will have a hard time leaving without a $150 bill for dinner. We expected it so it didn't put a damper on our wedding anniversary dinner - if we hadn't been forewarned, what appears to be a non-pretentious storefront restaurant, the prices might have been a damper on our celebration. Service: Was well-paced and we were never left wondering where our food was.. Food: I had the pork chop (excellent, and great mustard served with it), and my dining companion had the filet-mignon (excellent, and the sides were great also). Our only disappointment was the dinner roll - it was warm but hard and well past its prime. We'll be back. After our last experience with Brandl in Belmar we need an alternative for fine dining. Brandl kept us waiting 90 minutes after our reservation time before even placing our orders. They vastly overbooked, or allowed un-reserved diners in - whatever it made an early New Years Eve dinner into a late dinner. Not good Chris.More infoPoached Pear BistroPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Point Pleasant Beach•4.9

- SStevenNew York City •58 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 4, 2025We had a wonderful meal there. It was our first time and we will definitely be back. Four of us shared a couple of apps and then each had an entree. No one was disappointed. We also shared two soufflé- if you can save room they were terrific. We also love that it’s BYOB.More infoBrandlPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Belmar•4.2
