- BBrookeNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI recently dined at Osteria Umbra, an Italian-inspired restaurant that promises an experience of rustic elegance combined with hearty, perfectly cooked meats. The ambiance strikes a wonderful balance between sophisticated and cozy: dim lighting, exposed brick, and antique wood paneling give the place a warm, inviting feel, while the flicker of candlelight on each table adds a romantic touch. There’s an Italian charm to the space, yet it still feels like a true Italian steakhouse in all the right ways.More infoOsteria UmbraPrice: Expensive• Italian• Smithtown•4.9

The service was good . They were very nice and attentive . The food was excellent . For cocktails, the old fashion special was fantastic. Compliments to the Great bartender ! Appetizer - We started with the seasonal three spread . Excellent Entrees - mussels and ribeye steak. Brussels sprouts fries . All were really well presented as much as they were delicious . I will be back soon to try other items in the menu!More infoThe Linwood Restaurant and CocktailsPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Bay Shore•4.8

- LLorraineVIPNew York City •50 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe absolutely loved your afternoon tea. The sandwiches were delicious! My favorite was the beet and goat cheese. I am not a truffle lover, but I did enjoy the egg salad sandwich with a hint of truffles. It was not overdone, it was just right. I loved the scones, especially with the fig jam and clotted cream. I prefer savory over sweets at an afternoon tea. I find many places do far too many sweets. You had just enough to complement the sandwiches. If I may, I would like to suggest the addition of Darjeeling to your teas. They do call it the King of Teas, after all. It is very different from English Breakfast and Earl Grey, both of which are blended teas. I feel Darjeeling would really complement your lovely afternoon tea. Thank you for a lovely afternoon, Sincerely, Lorraine PaganoMore infoArtisanPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Southport•4.7
