Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in Prairie Village

Overall great dining experience! Server was good and attentive, food was served hot and look great on the plate. Only issue was the 3 wine choices I made, they were out of stock, but our server made a recommendation that worked. Server also made sure to check back often, but not constantly, she had a good flow of checking in on her tables. Enjoyed our evening

Eddie V's continues to have excellent food across the board, but it is very pricey (expect ~$100 a person before tax and tip for dinner and drinks). However, the staff, ambiance, food and drinks are all top-notch. Great wine menu but no beers on tap if that's your thing. Our waiter recommended the seabass with a side of the crab fried rice and it was outstanding. Also would highly recommend the lemon tart.

We had our family Christmas Eve dinner tonight and everything was fantastic! They followed up several times to confirm everything before we arrived. We had no wait time for our table and our server Emily was wonderful. She let us know the kitchen was running a little behind and asked if we wanted to get kids meals in right away to avoid a hangry meltdown. Food was paced very well and we never waited long for anything. Our experience was so good, this may be our new holiday tradition.

It was a wonderful experience, with a perfect view of the downtown city scape. The shopping area was decorated with colorful lights which added to the ambiance for Christmas. Food was perfect. Steaks were tender, and juicy, pork chop was excellent and the bread was so good with the 3 sauces. We had empanadas as well, and they were good, but our group decided if there was something to pass, it would be this, as we didn’t have room for dessert. Our waiter, Justin, was excellent and on top of making our dining a wonderful experience! Highly recommend this restaurant!
