Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in Pinole

The food was fantastic! The service was fine, but I was disappointed that there was no room for customization, which led me to choose a different dish than I originally wanted. Not ideal, but the food was still very good.

 Jos exceeded our expectations all around. We came in not super hungry from a late lunch and still ended up enjoying three courses. Delicious fresh herb mixes with each dish and fantastic service! We’ll be back soon.

A wonderful restaurant in the delightful village of Port Costa. The ambiance and service are top notch. The food is very good, though as vegans our choices were limited. We were able to put together a meal with some salads and side dishes, but would be nice if a thoughtful, non-pasta vegan main could be added. There wasn't any protein or fat in our dinner, so we left feeling a bit hungry, though the omnivore friends we were with were quite satisfied. We are hoping that the restaurant recognizes this issue so we can return and bring other friends in the future.

This was a special occasion. My sister loves Ajanta, is from out of town and hadn’t visited in a while. We were welcomed graciously, given a table by the window and then served a wonderful meal. Truly memorable. Well done Ajanta.
