Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in Passaic

Food is always good and service is always very good.

Outstanding! I haven't been to Il Villagio since the 80s when it was a much smaller, family-run, excellent Italian restaurant. They have clearly been doing well since and expanded beautifully for larger events. But don't let that deter you. The dining room is comfy and elegant with approximately 20 tables and a beautiful bar. So you still get that 'homey" feel. I was fortunate enough to meet one of the family members while we were there. She pulled out some of the old photos to show me and it brought me right back. The service was outstanding. The wait staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and very pleasant. The food! Mama MIA! We were a table of 6 and we all had one special or another. The quality was 10/10 and the portions were more than enough for each of us. We have made it part of our repertoire again and I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend it! Can't wait to go back! Meraviglioso!

We were in New York the Sunday before New Year’s, and had the great fortune of going to Sugar Bar. I seen Valerie Simpson on TV a few days before and it reminded me of this restaurant. So glad I happened upon that interview. A New York neighborhood restaurant bar was full of chatting people having a good time. The food was good. The drinks were great and the desserts scrumptious. More importantly, it was beautiful to pay how much to Ashford & Simpson. It reminded me of growing up with their music in the background.  We went on a Sunday; next time I’ll be sure to go on a day that they have music!
