Founded in 1996 the ideas for the Marblehead Chowder House were actually hatched a few years before. The. restaurant is beautiful and the fire pit in the dining room adds a warm ambiance. The waitstaff was friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was amazing. The best steak and chocolate cake I’ve ever had. Chophouse will be our new family favorite!

Wonderful pre-Orchestra experience! We had the pre-theatre menu, although the restaurant week menu was tempting. Our service was smooth and well-paced, so that we enjoyed our dinner without feeling rushed or stressed. Food quality and variety was excellent. We all enjoyed different items : grilled octopus, spanakopita, branzino, lamb chops, moussaka. All were well-seasoned and nicely presented. The wines by the glass were interesting and great value. We will definitely return!
