- AAnthonyNew York State •1 review4.0Dined 4 days agoWent here for my wife's birthday, I ordered the Red Snapper, and she ordered the Ribeye, we also ordered the 8 piece oyster appetizer, two bowls of she-crab soup, and for sides we ordered the grilled asparagus, and French fries. First thing I'll say is that the Oysters were really good, even my wife enjoyed two of them, and she doesn't normally eat oysters. The she-crab soup, was absolutely fantastic, definitely worth it, and I recommend saving a piece of of the pretzel bread they give you in the complementary bread basket, to dip it in the soup. When it comes to the entrees, my red snapper was really good, the edges of the fish were crispy and the middle was soft and buttery, and the sweet potato puree under the fish was better than I expected. My wife's steak was cooked well, but she mentioned that it seemed overly greasy, and the rosemary kind of overwhelmed the flavor of the steak. She got the garlic butter, and horseradish sauce with the steak, but she didn't really need the butter, and the horseradish sauce somehow robbed the steak of its natural saltiness. We both agreed that the herb aioli that came with the French fries, was the best sauce we had, and actually asked for two more to-go cups of that sauce for our fries, which we ended up taking home with us.More infoblack & blue Steak and Crab - AlbanyPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Albany•4.6
- RRICKVIPNew York City •14 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWine pours were on the light side, while the Ceasar salad was miniaturized; both could stand a bump-up. Food was, otherwise, very good, as were service and ambience.More infoMilano - Latham NYPrice: Moderate• Italian• Latham•4.5

- EEricUpstate New York •1 review5.0Dined on Feb 14, 2025Outstanding service; within 20 seconds of entering the very busy restaurant, someone offered to take our coats, and the experience that followed was fantastic. Only complaint was the noise level and proximity that parties were sat (very close), but totally understand that being an issue on Valentine’s Day.More infodp An American BrasseriePrice: Expensive• American• Albany•4.5
