We strive to bring approachable food and beverage, a sense of comfort and community, as well as a unique and quality dining experience. We call ourselves a "cafe" in the sense that we are not pretentious and offer a fine dining experience in an atmosphere of comfort and respite.Parking in Opera Alley, and downtown, can be a bit of a challenge, especially on the weekends, so please be sure to give yourself plenty of time when making reservations to find a parking space, or consider a night off from driving and get an Uber or Lift!!     The view was perfect. I suggest one might want to reserve a table about 30 or 40 minutes before sunset. That way, as the sun goes down and the city lights come up, one will see Tacoma in many different light hues. Beautiful. The dinner was wonderfully delicious. My guests were slightly disappointed with the dessert choices because they said the options were the same as everywhere else (chocolate cake, carrot spice cake, cheesecake, brownie with ice cream …). They were hoping to find more elegant options for the price.

    We've eaten here many times and always had a great meal. Friendly staff, knowledgeable and informative. It's a great place for a special occasion. A bit on the expensive side but worth it. Their clam chowder is unbeatable and we always enjoy the salmon.
