Umi Sake House is a unique Japanese cuisine restaurant in the Belltown area of Seattle featuring the highest quality seafood available in the Northwest, a large izakaya-style tapas menu, and boasting a sake list of over 60 imported Japanese bottles.     If you're looking for an authentic sushi experience this is the place for you. We've dined here many times but this was our first time at the Chefs table for Omakase. I have had sushi at a lot of places and this was by far one of the best Omakase experiences I have ever had.

    Booked our table a month ago, was really excited to visit, The pink door doesn’t let us down. The Food was soooo good and we definitely ordered too much for two, we went straight with 4 Fresh Northwest oysters, Bagna Cauda(Hot Bath), Squid Ink Tonnarelli and Mama’s Meatballs; end up packing it for dinner the night as well, but it was so satisfying. Bagna Cauda (Hot bath) is the most amazing, knowing it’s just a “dip” for veggie, however, it’s different —- you have to try it to know how good it is.

    If you follow me you see I'm a regular at Vendemmia. Why? Because of the excellent service and excellent food. This evening I want to mention all: the squash soup was good, As always the spaghetti pomodoro was excellent, classic, as always. If you know me I say braise meat should be like candy ... The Braised beef short ribs were some of the best candy I've ever had anywhere! Fabulous! Will be looking forward the reopening in February (They;re closed in January for renovations) Well worth any trip to get there! Top of the line Italian

    We were able to snag a reservation for Spinasse about one month before our visit-even then, the times available were 5 or 9 PM. We opted for 5 PM, and were seated promptly when they opened. My husband and I ordered the Tajarin Al Ragu and it did not disappoint! Loved watched the fresh pasta in the making, and our server was fantastic. Not local to SEA, but would visit again.
