- GGabrielaLos Angeles •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe food was absolutely delicious, and our server provided exceptional service throughout the evening. We were celebrating my birthday, and the ambiance added a special touch to the occasion. However, the night ended on a disappointing note due to an unprofessional encounter with one of the security staff in the upstairs bar area. When we attempted to take a group picture in an open section that was accessible to everyone and not reserved, the security guard rudely demanded that we move, despite our explanation that we were just taking a quick photo. To our frustration, minutes later, we saw another group use the same area without issue. This inconsistency left us feeling singled out and deeply disappointed, especially after spending over $1,500 on dinner alone. While the evening was otherwise enjoyable, this negative experience overshadowed what should have been a memorable celebration. I hope this feedback is taken seriously to ensure better treatment of all guests in the future.More infoPerch LAPrice: Expensive• French American• Downtown•4.6

Redbird is where we go when we want to treat ourselves to a truly exquisite evening. Their wine list is incredible, but we often get distracted by the beautiful cocktails. Menu is small and crafted at a super high level by chef Neal Fraser. Beautiful location, though it can be chilly on winter nights. We had to ask to move to a table closer to the heat lamps. Service is impeccable but not too much. We're always wowed and leave feeling special and deeply satisfied. Simply put, Redbird is our favorite fine restaurant in Los Angeles. Happy hour is a great deal here if you want to start small and check the vibe.More infoRedbird - Los AngelesPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown•4.8
- PPollyLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoNick is arguably the BEST server in LA! He is so knowledgeable and honest and fun without being at all intrusive. The front desk staff are also excellent. They rush to open the door for us and greet us with big smiles. We aren't huge regulars, but they make us feel like we are. We're never rushed from our table (but we don't linger endlessly on a busy night). Compliments to the bus team as well for their attentiveness. Overall, one of the best restaurants in LA, and not a big bold presence on this quiet corner on Sunset. You will never be disappointed. (And if you are for something you didn't really love, they totally make up for it with extra goodies and tastes at no charge. - SStevenVIPNew York City •10 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoMy daughter and I dined at Bestia as first-timers before heading to the Disney Concert Hall to listen to the amazing Jennifer Hudson. Several parties around us were doing the same thing-great minds think alike. After receiving lots of helpful suggestions from Franklin, our server, we opted for a glass of Riesling and a Cruise Control as our beverages and shared a Margherita pizza, Cavatelli alla Norcina, and the Grilled Pork Collar. All were delicious options. The pizza was so flavorful with just the right amount of char on the crust. The pasta married the sauce, sausage and shaved truffles so well, and the pork collar was sublime; tender and flavorful. For dessert we shared the Holiday Cookie Frozen Torte which gave us a little of everything-cake, coconut, pecans and ice cream. Franklin and his team were friendly, attentive, and professional. We both agreed we would love to dine here againMore infoBestiaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Downtown•4.7
