Appetizers were flatbread and meatballs! Both were excellent. When we were seated our waiter was okay at best. Donโt know if he was just having an off night but we could sense he just didnโt want to be there. When we were closing the ticket out we considered having another drink and he said well it would make my night easier if you didnโt! For dinner we ordered Steak, Lamb and Lobster between 4 of us. Steak was charred and over cooked & lobster was way over cooked! The lamb was good. We werenโt told they were out of broccoli so everyoneโs plates just came with green beans. We asked the waiter and he said they were out of broccoli. Even though it was a mix up, the green beans were the best part of the meals! I always the emember the original owners of Strouds saying glasses can never be empty. It is still the case today. It's the little things like this that make a great waiter. We enjoyed the lobster and crab cake, the KC Strip au poivre, and the seared scallops and lobster risotto. The blackberry sidecar was the cocktail of choice. The whole experience was luxuriously decadent, and Gaspar was wonderful to make sure our anniversary was so special.
