- PPhilipCentral Kentucky •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoAmazing food and outstanding service. Staff were very friendly and professional and provided great recommendations. Red snapper crudo and gnocchi were excellent! Drinks were great as well. Had an old fashioned and house made eggnog. Atmosphere was enjoyable and noise level was minimal so was easy to hold conversation. Definitely a place to check out if you haven’t been!!More infoHenrietta RedPrice: Expensive• American• Germantown•4.8
- KKateNashville •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoDinner was artistic perfection! They are constantly reinventing their octopus dish, and it is always one of my favorite dishes. Also a must is the broth, with complex flavors. The lighting’s warm glow on one of the longest nights of the year was so cozy and intimate.More infoPeninsulaPrice: Expensive• Modern European• East Nashville•4.9
- JJoeNew York City •8 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe went last night to celebrate my daughter's engagement. We were seated immediately. The restaurant is beautiful. The atmosphere is very welcoming. The cocktails were unique and delicious. We ordered the artichoke appetizer and the arancini. Both were delicious. My wife ordered the trout, I had the short ribs, my daughter had the hangar steak and her fiance had the burger. The presentation of each course was beautiful. The food was delicious and we ate with gusto. I highly recommend this restaurant for a great food experience.More infoThe Mockingbird NashvillePrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• The Gulch & North Gulch•4.7
- DDeeAnnVIPSan Diego •30 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThis place is a very special dining experience. Nowhere can you find a spot with live jazz and mellow music in the middle of the dining room. This type of thing seems like a bygone era but not at the Scull. Stepping inside is like entering an alternate universe with old brick walls, creaking wood floors and upscale dining in an environment that is unique and beyond explanation. The menu offers many options, and pricing is high, but you are paying for an experience and atmosphere that is priceless. We made a reservation and visited the week before Christmas so the musical entertainers played a variety of holiday songs along with old world favorites from the likes of Frand Sinatra to Johnny Cash. I can't say enough good things about this place other than to say you must go and see for yourself.More infoSkull's Rainbow RoomPrice: Expensive• French American• Downtown / Sobro•4.8
- JJohnKey West / Florida Keys •5 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 15, 2024Greeted at the door by the chef, my wife and I were whisked away (cooking pun there…) to the back room of the restaurant. There we were seated and greeted by an attractive server and had our special menu explained to us. We had the choice of escargots, a brief interlude of boeuf bourguignon, and I had the steak frites while my wife enjoyed the confit of duck. We were finished off with a traditional cheese plate with a variety of cheeses from around Europe. All the food items were fabulous and the wine pairings were perfect! I will complain that the portions were oversized for me. We were nearly full from the escargots, and the boeuf was a full dinner portion in itself. The ribeye steak was as the chef explains it “what Americans expect”. I can’t fault him for giving his customers what they want, although I personally would prefer a more authentic experience with a smaller skirt or flank steak and about half the amount of fries. To summarize: go there. Eat. You will not regret a thing!More infoOnce Upon a Time in FrancePrice: Expensive• French• East Nashville•4.7
