Vallozzi's started over 50 years ago when Helen Vallozzi was selling homemade pastas out of her home. Helen opened a take out restaurant in Latrobe, PA a few years later where her popularity exploded. In 1977, Ernie Vallozzi moved his mothers location to Greensburg where it is still open and operating today. In 2012 Ernie's son Julian expanded the tradition in to downtown Pittsburgh.     This place is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to dine before going to a show in the Cultural District. The service is excellent. They have an extensive wine list and they always offer seasonal cocktails that the bartenders come up with on their own. The appetizers and entrees are always phenomenal as well. Already looking forward to my next visit!

    Great food and a great vibe. Service was fantastic and we were checked on not just by our waitress, but also the other staff including our hostess. Definitely not a quiet place, but this is part of the deal. Just overall awesome.

    One of my favorite restaurants to dine at the food the atmosphere everything is phenomenal. They have great management and their workers are very professional art was our waiter and he was fantastic. Can’t wait to return to have dinner again.
