The food was perfect, as was the ambiance and the wait staff. Initially, due to our understanding of the restaurants long history, we weren’t sure what to expect. Perhaps things were going to feel outdated to us. This, however, was not the case. If anything, the rich history adds to the wonderful mystique and overall experience. However, I thought it would cause them to get folks in and out even quicker to accommodate the many bookings they had. We had a 2 hour dining experience with only three courses. Our cocktails took quite a while. The first course got to us before our cocktails and one of the managers brought us sparkling wine because he noticed we didn’t have our cocktails yet. He ordered his favorite: the cowboy steak with a nice Caesar salad, which he also devoured completely. We enjoyed salads, the creamed spinach, the Osso Bucco ravioli, and the 11 ounce fillet &lobster dinner. The foil “ Happy Birthday” messages decorating the table were a very nice touch.
