- AAlbertVIPPhiladelphia County •10 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoIt is evident why Cocina al Fondo and its chef received the James Beard Best Chef (South) award in 2023. This was a jewel of a restaurant built inside a renovated house with the kitchen in an adjacent shed, an indoor dining room with an accompanying garden for outdoor seating, and a knowledgeable and attentive staff. The food - Puerto Rican soul food taken up a notch with soothing and occasionally surprising flavors, well executed and balanced. Only open Thursdays through Saturdays. Well worth a visit.More infoCocina Al FondoPrice: Moderate• Puerto Rican• Condado•4.9
