Best Neighborhood Gem Restaurants in Carlisle

We had a lovely first stop at Devon. Food and drinks were all delightful. As two industry workers, it's always interesting to be on the other side of service as we are so consciously aware of everything going on around us. Elise did a fabulous job of reading our table and providing the perfect balance of attention/interaction throughout service. That is truly the art of serving/bartending. I never leave these reviews, but my coffee was hitting just right this morning when the email came in requesting our review :) Thanks for having us!

Wild Game and Mushroom is always wonderful, and the food is consistently excellent so year round

If I could give service 10 stars I would. Lindsay was incredibly welcoming, hospitable, and accommodating. Her wit, personality and sense of humor was incredible from start to finish. Her service was top notch with multiple comments circling the table as “the best service.” Now onto food…..I wish I had 2 stomachs, or maybe 5. Our group enjoyed the she crab soup, pretzel and cheese appetizer, Brussels sprouts, Mac and cheese and wedge salads as a first course. We then moved onto dinner entrees; pan seared chicken, fish and chips, burger and lobster salad without a complaint. That spiraled us into ordering every dessert on the menu without a single regret. Sweet tooth satisfied, but I wouldn’t expect anything less from the sweetest place on earth. The Mon Frère Chardonnay was tastefully selected to pair well with the cuisine, and you can’t go wrong with the Signature Hershey’s Kisses Chocolate Martini with dessert. Again, my sweet tooth is very satisfied. Other resorts should take notes from The Hotel Hershey and the hospitality their hotel, restaurants and staff provide. 10/10 without a question.

Our first time there as we were looking for a new place for date night. Absolutely loved it there so beautiful . We were there at night and the lights were a great setting. The menu was awesome although I we didn’t care for the ingredients in the mashed sweet potatoes all else was amazing, try the wings!!!! Without any sauce! They are the best appetizer. I would request manager make a fried chicken platter using the very same ingredients as the wings please!! All in all. We will be back very soon. Awesome time 5 stars
