Best Neighborhood Gem Restaurants in Bellingham

Had a great dinner at Mida for my son’s birthday. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The cocktails were perfect, the food was delicious and the entree portions were bigger than most restaurants these days. All the ingredients were fresh and every dish had a depth of flavor and texture. We ordered the mussels (delicious!!) burrata, focaccia, eggplant parm, bolognese, swordfish piccata, the salmon and the chicken. Loved the vibe of the place and the music too. They brought out a special tiramisu with a candle for my son at the end of the meal. Would definitely go back!

Wonderful evening! We had the five course tasting menu. Sarah was awesome, explaining all the courses. We really enjoyed Justin’s description of the wines. Because of him, we are now considering Gracie’s Fall wine cruise.

Wonderful Brunch! Nothing can beat the best homemade Bloody Mary’s!

Christmas Eve dinner. Festive, lively atmosphere without being too loud for easy conversation. Service was excellent, beginning with the accommodation of a late addition guest. Staff was there for every need and question yet never made us feel rushed—even though our meal went past closing. I expected great food and was not disappointed. Oysters were particularly good and French-pressed coffee always adds a great finishing touch. My teenagers had a great time and have a new appreciation for real food. Highly recommend.
