The prawns were special and excellent but $100 for 3, pricey. The scallops were solid but would've benefited from some basil and/or pesto, but cooked to perfection. The shrimp cocktail was very very good but the shrimp seem small next to the prawns. The server forgot to put in a salad and the entrees came out so we passed, it was not a big deal and he made up for it by removing the cinnamon butter cake that no one liked for the traditional one which was better in every aspect, flavor and texture. The entrees were cooked to perfection which was extremely important to me not just because they were prime steaks but because my last visits to Ruth and Flemings failed and severely overcooked my steaks as in ordered medium rare and received well done!!!! The sides were rich and full of flavor and complexity, we had the white cheddar mac which is probably the best mac u can find and the wild mushroom gnocchi which was my choice was delicious and in my opinion a huge portion. Drinks were crafted nicely, rye old fashioneds and something mango m fire or something like that, that was very good and definitely brought the "fire." The desserts other than the butter cake were probably the weakest part of the meal, they werent bad but nothing was amazing. We had the sin cake was a solid B, the creme brulee was not very good and seemed to have sat in the refrigerator next to other foods for too long as it tasted off, and the espresso cake was good but needed ice cream not just the milk/cream it comes with. It is not a souffle cake like i had hoped, but it was ok. Overall, it was one of the best meals I have had in a long time. The filets and ribeye were fantastic. The bacon steak and prawns were wonderful. I would absolutely come again, its clean, beautiful and the service was very very good. Well done Mastros.More infoMastro's Ocean Club - Newport BeachPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Newport Beach•4.7

Beachcombers never disappoints with an awesome lunch and a killer dessert! The noise level can be high ("Energetic?") but the setting and service more than compensates. April, our server yesterday, was totally hospitable.More infoBeachcomber Cafe - Crystal CovePrice: Moderate• Californian• Newport Beach•4.8

- MMariettaLondon •4 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoFantastic - Javier’s never fails! With friend in town for the holiday we wanted to do something festive for late afternoon drinks and then an early dinner. Service was outstanding - starting with sitting at the PCH side bar where our original bartender is still serving up perfect jalapeño margaritas — to the hostess who easily accommodated our request for table in that area for dinner — and then the food stoke the show. Queso fundido was terrific, Pork Verde and the Salmon dishes were ‘off the charts’ and the chicken Enchiladas and Crispy Tacos were perfect. Javier’s ALWAYS lives up to it’s reputation. We’ll be back again & again!More infoJavier's Crystal CovePrice: Expensive• Mexican• Newport Beach•4.7
