As were the scallops on the half shell and the grilled octopus ceviche. It’s one of our favorite restaurants. We haven’t been there in a while but will be back again soon. It’s worth it for a special evening!More infoToulouse - HoustonPrice: Expensive• French• River Oaks•4.8

Upon arrival, we were greeted by an efficient and professional valet service, setting the tone for an evening of excellence. The ladies at the hostess station welcomed us with warm smiles, making us feel right at home. Our waiter was outstanding, providing attentive and knowledgeable service throughout the meal. We were fortunate to have the sommelier assist us in selecting an exquisite bottle of Pinot Noir that perfectly complemented our dinner. The food was simply delicious, showcasing the high standards Mastro's is known for. The ambience was elegant and sophisticated, truly reflecting the affluent atmosphere of Houston. I highly recommend Mastro’s Steakhouse for anyone looking for a remarkable dining experience. It’s the perfect place to celebrate special occasions or simply enjoy a fantastic meal with loved ones. We left with full hearts and satisfied appetites, already looking forward to our next visit!More infoMastro's Steakhouse - HoustonPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Galleria / Uptown•4.8

The highlight of the evening was the impeccable service from Ryjane. She was the epitome of professionalism—attentive, knowledgeable, and flawless in her execution. Her genuine warmth and efficiency elevated the entire experience, making us feel truly valued as guests. The food was equally outstanding! From the perfectly cooked, tender steak to the delectable sides and appetizers, every bite was a testament to the kitchen’s expertise and attention to detail. The flavors were rich and beautifully balanced, and the presentation was just as impressive. Steak 48 is the perfect spot for a special occasion or simply indulging in an unforgettable meal. I can’t recommend it enough, and I’ll definitely be back. Kudos to Ryjane for making the evening truly exceptional!More infoSteak 48 - HoustonPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• River Oaks•4.9
- LlaurieVIPHouston •51 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThe food is the best sushi in America. I go to restaurants in NY, LA, Vegas, Miami. This is the best sushi in the country. The dishes are creative and prepared like you would find at a Michelin-star restaurant. I have gone here for Christmas, New Years Eve, Anniversary, Birthday over the years. Always a great. Not inexpensive, but worth every dollar for the quality. Drinks are creative. If you are z champagne drinker they even have my favorite, Ruinart. The only opportunity was we brought a baby and a little tough for seating choices. But we were fine and the baby didn't make a peep. Eat, enjoy, celebrate.More infoUchi HoustonPrice: Very Expensive• Sushi• Montrose•4.9

The food was amazing - great menu, great wine/cocktail menu and the service was very good. The restaurant is very beautiful- it was a busy evening and I'm hoping to go back at a less busy time to really enjoy the ambiance. Our family loved the experience!More infoLe Colonial - HoustonPrice: Expensive• Vietnamese• Galleria / Uptown•4.8
