Best Hot Spot Restaurants in Northwest Philly

This was my first time at The Love + it was an exceptional experience from beginning to end. The check-in hostesses were warm and welcoming, and every staff member, especially my server, John, was friendly + knowledgeable about everything great the restaurant has to offer. My meal, the Caesar Salad + Ravioli was outstanding, the flavor profiles in both dishes fresh + inventive ~ I devoured everything! The restaurant itself is beautiful, lending to the perfect dining experience I thoroughly enjoyed. I look forward to my next experience at The Love.

Barclay Prime Review My wife and I celebrated her birthday at Barclay Prime, and it was a fantastic experience! The ambiance was elegant, with a lively atmosphere that leaned a bit noisy—not the restaurant’s fault, just the energy of the night. The food was absolutely wonderful, and you truly get what you pay for in terms of quality and presentation. I highly recommend dining here for a special occasion or a treat-yourself moment. Using OpenTable to make our reservations added convenience and ensured everything went smoothly. Barclay Prime definitely made the night memorable for us, and we can’t wait to visit again!

So many memories here and really sad that it’s all coming to an end. I couldn’t possibly let this restaurant go out of business without one less spin. Thanks for all the good times.

We enjoyed everything from the moment we waked in to the moment we left. Our anniversary was acknowledged by the hostess, our server and a manager. They also sent out a sweet little dessert. Timing was very fluid. I was very impressed with the acoustics- the restaurant was totally packed but you can not hear another individual conversation and can still make out the music. Hard to achieve without seeing visible panels or an abundance of heavy drapery and rugs which there is not. Food was perfect.

We went for Christmas breakfast. We were seated immediately and the service staff was very attentive to us. We ordered 3 breakfast items, french toast with nutella and bananas which was outstanding as the bread was not very heavy, the frittata which came with a home made engish muffin and the shrimp and grits which the portion size was so large we needed to take it home. All of the food was very decadent and tasty. Looking forward to coming back here again!
