- BBrandiCentral Kentucky •7 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe love Jeff rubies and Louisville is the best. We always get the best food and service. Last night we had a new waiter we hadn’t had before and he was top notch!!! Brought us a glass of champagne for our date night and threw a picture of us with our giant delicious carrot cake in our bag of left overs. We showed up for brunch and didn't realize it was not offered on weekdays. She read my disappointment and went above a beyond to ensure I was going to love the experience anyway :). BOY am I glad we stayed. She recommended the French Onion Soup and it was probably the best thing we've had in a long time! Delicious!!! We'll be back, and often! - MMarkAtlanta Metro •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe opted to try Proof On Main to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary during our annual visit to Louisville. Routinely, we had our anniversary dinner at Swizzle. However, when we were unsuccessfully at securing a reservation at Swizzle, our search for an alternate led us to Proof on Main-we are glad we did! Not only were we able to get a last minute reservation on X-mas eve, but it wasn't packed, adding to the intimate ambience we were hoping to experience. Our waiter, was not only knowledgeable, but he was verry attentive and detailed with his recommendations; which were spot-on. I cannot remember the last time I savored every bit of my meal.More infoProof on MainPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown Louisville•4.6

The maitre d’ recognized our request for a bourbon tasting with dinner and made sure to seat us at a table in Ross’s section. Ross was a delight. Funny, efficient, and knowledgeable with the menu and especially the bourbon. After asking us questions on type, style, price, he created a tasting that was perfect beginning to end. I am going to dream about my halibut main course and my husband raved about the Caesar salad. We will definitely be back when we come to town.More infoBrendon's Catch 23Price: Very Expensive• Seafood• Downtown Louisville•4.9
