The bread they serve is so good, it is more of a sweet dinner roll that is served warm. We started with the firecracker shrimp and the calamari for appetizers which were very good. Then I had the grilled Mahi Mahi sandwich which was very tasty, 2 others in my party had the steak and fries which they both said it was one of the best steaks they’ve had. The last entree was the grilled salmon which was also very good. The service was excellent, the place is extremely busy but that definitely doesn’t affect the quality of service and food. Our reservation was for 8:15 pm but didn’t get seated until 30 plus minutes after our reservation time. From the food, to management to the excellent service from the wait staff (special shout out to Johnny) makes this a must for us on a weekly basis. Order the Japanese Milk Bread, the dry ages NY strip blackened/medium, the corn soufflé, broccolini and purveu w/extra cheese. Top it off with the brownie for desert and you are in for a treat. Service was great, she was very helpful and on task. There were 3 of us and we ordered a sushi platter, Pekin Duck for 2, and appetizers including ribs and shishito peppers. The sushi was OK, but the duck and ribs were amazing. The duck was perfectly toasted with crispy skin and very tender meat. The menu and taste is more tailored to American taste. Definitely highly recommend and make sure make reservations ahead of the time.
