They married and began to envision that someday they would open a restaurant of their own. The restaurant’s first business plan was written at their dining room table on an electric typewriter. In 1988 Linwoods opened its doors, and it has been a labour of love for more than thirty years. Linwoods’ cuisine consists of the freshest ingredients, and inventive preparation.     We had an excellent experience at Azumi while celebrating my husband’s belated birthday! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make the evening special. The ambiance was elegant and perfect for a celebratory dinner. The food was absolutely phenomenal — each dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The sushi was some of the best we’ve ever had, and the cocktails were crafted to perfection. What stood out the most was the exceptional service. The team was attentive, friendly, and made sure every detail was taken care of. They even added thoughtful touches to make my husband’s birthday extra memorable. Thank you, Azumi, for an unforgettable evening. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion!

    Lots of extra little touches that made the dishes special: the foamy mignonette on the oysters, the crunchy bites and pickled mushrooms on the beef tartare. Pre-pandemic, table side dishes such as classic Caesar salad and duck a la presse were on the menu- we can understand not having them all the time, but hopefully they’re not gone for good.
