Established in 1999, King’s Fish House is Calabasas’ choice for seafood. Located at The Commons off Calabasas Rd., King’s Fish House features a large selection of oysters, seasonal catches, sushi and live shellfish, including lobster and crab, on a menu that changes daily. We’ve been in restaurants a little while – three generations, to be precise. A long time ago, we embarked on a road trip in search of the ultimate seafood experience. We traveled down highways and byways, pulled up a seat, put on bibs and soaked up the seafood experience: the no-name dishes with unforgettable flavor, the fresh-caught oysters and clams piled high, the hand-lettered specials on ancient chalkboards and the savory simmer of every combination of spices imaginable.Welcome to the House that Seafood Built.Come gather with us, celebrate, relax and enjoy a seafood dining experience of high quality, comfort, service and value.

I'd long wanted to dine at Musso & Frank Grill and finally had my chance tonight. It's an L.A. classic that's turned out elegant comfort food and delectable martinis for 105 years. My husband and I were not disappointed: the restaurant's storied history, ambience, food, and service all combined to make a memorable dining experience. We started with cocktails (a St. George Terroir martini for me, a Fern Dell for him), the baked escargot, and the wedge salad — all delicious (I especially enjoyed the house-made bleu cheese dressing that came with the salad). For our mains, my husband ordered the Saturday special: Braised Short Ribs of Beef with vegetables (diced carrots — too many, he thought — and peas) and mashed potatoes. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender and so flavorful! I had the NY Strip, cooked medium rare, and it was perfectly prepared. We shared the baby broccolini, which was grilled and had a wonderful char. Our waiter Leonardo brought us a brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a candle, as we were celebrating my husband's birthday. Service was thoughtful, courteous, and efficient. We had a delightful experience and look forward to our next opportunity to dine at Musso & Frank!

It was me and my boyfriend’s first time coming here, and we wanted something special for our anniversary and it was a wonderful experience! Everyone was nice but our server was especially very kind and attentive. We got the calamari for an appetizer which was delicious and cooked perfectly. I got the tilapia with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts, and my boyfriend got the shrimp with scallops and mashed potatoes also and we loved it all! Our favorite part was dessert, we got the butter cake and it just melts in your mouth. It was perfect and we can’t wait to go back!
