    This was the perfect evening. I took my partner for their birthday, and everything was beyond wonderful. This is the only restaurant where we both had something amazing to say about every single dish. We hardly even got a chance to talk, with how much we were praising the food!     Everything was perfect.! From the wait staff to everyone we had interactions with. We had the Prime Rib and the Strip-steak, with Creamed Spinach. The steaks were cooked perfect.

    Had the blackened redfish. Actually we split it and were both pleased with the portion amount. As well as the flavor. Brussels sprouts appetizer was tasty. We were on our journey to complete the #FleurduCouer list of participating venues. Highly recommend this place.

    Mr B's was, overall, the perfect way to end a good week full of good food in NOLA. The braised short rib dinner was very good. The bacon- wrapped shrimp and grits dish was one of the best renditions of that dish we've ever had, and we have sampled many. The Gallette de Roi (king cake) was fabulous, and, as a bonus, it wasn't covered with the bizarre -- and to me, off-putting -- purple, green and gold colors that the store bought ones have. Finally, our server, Rasheed, turned a great meal into an overall superb evening. He was efficient and helpful without being intrusive, very personable to talk to, and he provided thoughtful insights as we asked about some of the dishes and how they might appeal to our preferences. He was extremely professional, and yet he felt like a friend by the time we left. (If the management is reading this, you need to hold on to this guy with both hands. Give him a promotion and a big raise to ensure no one else snaps him up.) We'll definitely go back to Mr. Bs the next time we're in New Orleans.
