Welcome to BEHIND. We are an intimate 1 Michelin star fish-focused tasting menu restaurant run by chef Andy Beynon. Situated on the edge of London Fields, Hackney, BEHIND has 18 kitchen-table seats for lunch and dinner sittings, as well as a relaxed wine bar. BEHIND is Andy Beynon’s first restaurant, opened in October 2020. After just 20 days’ trading it was awarded its first Michelin Star.     We visited to celebrate my sons 21st. Wow wow and wow Staff are polite, courteous, down to earth and very kind There are lots of staff so you’re not left waiting. They wait on you and treated the kids great also. Food was 10/10 and presentation was lit of this world. Cocktails were amazing. You get the drift, the place is amazing

    The best dinner in ages. Every course was delicious. The Parmesan butter with the sourdough, I could have eaten that for seconds. The lasagne lived up to the hype, the garlic bun was crisp and so garlicky and rocket salad was simple but the perfect side. Yum. I hate tiramisu but decided to try it and I’m so glad I did as it was perfect along with the chocolate sorbet. Loved the little venue and the staff were all welcoming. Wished the deli was open when we came as I’d definitely have been taking some bits home with us.

    Probably the best dining experience of my life. Lovely people, atmosphere, drinks and food. The whole experience felt deeply connected and the people running the place have put their whole hearts and minds into it. You won’t regret it.
