Best Hot Spot Restaurants in Las Olas Isles

This is still one of our favorite places in Ft. Lauderdale. Food is always delicious, service is great and the lively atmosphere make it for a great outing. If you are in the area, this is a great place to stop by for a bite and drink. Cheers!

We had a wonderful dining experience at YOLO . The staff was incredibly attentive and professional, making sure we felt welcome and well taken care of throughout our meal. Gabby, our waitress, was exceptional—friendly, knowledgeable, and truly went above and beyond to make our time there enjoyable. The entire team demonstrated impressive courtesy and professionalism, which really enhanced our experience. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning!

Food and cocktails were great! It was a little loud and the music (house/dance music) was an odd choice for a finer dining restaurant but honestly didn’t take away from the a good girls dinner and the food. I would 100% go back for the artichoke chops and the truffle brussel sprouts alone. The sea bass and the branzino were both amazing pieces of fish, and the steaks were cooked perfectly.

Takato never disappoints. Food and staff were amazing. We had lamb chops,sea bass, kimchi fried rice, shrimp fried rice, California roll, spicy tuna roll, yellowtail sashimi, machine, chocolate lava cake, specialty martini, cosmo, and a spicy margarita. Everything was amazing. The only bad part is this place seems to attract screaming kids with entitled parents with no regard and don't do anything. Not that the restaurant can help that but it is frustrating and definitely has an effect on the ambiance. Regardless, this is definitely one of the top restaurants in Ft. Lauderdale with amazing sushi and so much more.

Our visit to Chima on Christmas day was a wonderful experience. Our server Jonathan was great- he was super attentive and made sure we were always taken care of. Valentina also was fantastic! She was ON IT. Every time we stood, she was right there folding a napkin, and every time we even thought about wanting a clean plate, she anticipated our wishes and seemed to appear as if out of nowhere. Finally, a manager named Axe (or Ace? I cannot remember how to spell it, though I asked him) was absolutely amazing! He made my mother feel very special and ensured that she, who is always taking care of others, was treated like a queen for a change. Of course, the gentlemen serving the meats were all also phenomenal, but I don’t know all their names, I just hope they are all compensated well for their hard work. Honestly, there was not a single employee there who was not working incredibly hard, and deserve nothing but accolades and thanks for making our holiday celebration, to quote my father, “Not just a meal, but an experience!”
