    I took my wife for Valentine’s Day from start to finish the experience was superb. The ambiance set the tone for the night and did not disappoint The wait staff was very attentive to our needs and made sure that we were pleased with each course.     We had the best table in the building!!! It was my favorite. Love everything about this place minus the small portions and pricing of certain items. 120$ lobster Mac (I get it, it’s 1.5# lobster which is pricey) and 75$ table side carbonara is plain wild. 110$ filet is literal steak house territory without any details on the filet itself. Dry aged? Wet aged? Sourced from? Anyways it’s amazing food but maybe having waiters go in depth on each of these special meals would help sway consumers.

    Made reservations with my wife to celebrate our 3 year anniversary and our experience was nothing short of fantastic! The service, the vibe, and the food was amazing! Highly recommend the Steak Frites, cooked precisely to our liking, and the Wine selection is top tier. We will definitely be back.

    It was our ten year anniversary so after ordering oysters (delicious!) and cocktails, we decided to order broiled lobster, which since they hadn’t updated the menu-they were not serving it. Okay, so we decided to go somewhere else. After explaining this to our amazing Server, O.D. He spoke to the Chef, Eddie. Eddie visited our table, apologized that the lobster was not available to be served the way we like, but he said that he would accommodate us and prepare it especially for us since it was our anniversary. He also served us a few complimentary dishes and a glass of champagne, too! The food was absolutely amazing, and we gave a generous tip to O.D in appreciation for going above and beyond. Chef’s kiss to Eddie and we will be returning.

    La Grotta never disappoints. While the food is great, it is the service and pacing that makes the entire experience so wonderful. No pressure to order, no rushing you out after you’re done. Instead of just a meal, it becomes a wonderful event.
