- TTammyVIPVirginia •40 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoIf you're looking for an exceptional dining experience, Trummer's on Main in Clifton is the place to be! During Austrian Wine Month in March, they offer a fantastic selection of Austrian wines at 20% off, allowing you to explore some hidden gems. I highly recommend trying their signature Titanic drink—it's an absolute must! We also enjoyed a perfectly crafted Old Fashioned, made with Makers Mark, which was a delightful treat for the taste buds. For dinner, we went with the Wienerschnitzel and Rack of Lamb, and both were prepared to perfection. Every bite was a testament to their culinary expertise. The service was impeccable from start to finish, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable experience. You truly couldn’t ask for anything more. This was a first time for us and we will be back! Highly recommend this gem!More infoTrummer's RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Clifton•4.6
- MMaryWashington, D.C. Area •14 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoHistoric home converted into a restaurant, and a very charming one indeed! They have both indoor and outdoor seating on the front porch. Open table offers seating on an enclosed patio for some reason, and there is no such thing off the back of the restaurant per the hostess even though that's what i had selected. Maybe Open Table can remove this option. Food is very good, and prices are not out of the norm for the NoVa area. The special of the night was rockfish and it was very good. Also ordered the deviled eggs with bacon and pecans as an app, and the presentation was not only well done on the plate, but the colors with the red beet slices and the green mini cucumber slices and the yellow egg yolk was an art form to admire. We didn't leave a scrap on that plate! They also have a bread basket with a unique croissant style larger sized muffin that is hollow inside so calorie conscious people can indulge in the whole thing and have zero guilt!! And speaking of bread, if you are a bread pudding fan the dessert item with apples is incredible! Service was excellent - water was refilled 3 times which is above/beyond and very much appreciated. Overall, a very good choice in Fairfax for a dinner date or gathering with family/friends.More infoHamrock's RestaurantPrice: Moderate• American• Fairfax•4.7
- EEdwardWashington, D.C. Area •8 reviews4.0Dined 5 days agoThe food and service were excellent, but the noise level was very loud as a result of one group. The waiter said that the noise level is generally not that loud. For this reason I mark the atmosphere down.More infoKelly’s Oyster House and BarPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Fairfax•4.4
