Best Historic Restaurants in Warrenville

We went in the Saturday following Valentine’s Day and enjoyed the prix-fixe Valentine’s dinner. The food options were good. Our dinner, wine selection and service were very good.

This is about our 10th time going back to this restaurant we subscribe to the Paramont theater the Copeley theater and their new theater and whenever we go to a play all the way from Frankfurt an hour away we go to eat at this place. We always share their bourbon, salmon, which comes with great rice And string beans and we order an extra salad and we share everything and then we share a piece of their chocolate cake for dessert and they have without a doubt the best coffee in Aurora so this is an easy five star tonight our server was named Jessica and she was terrific sweet quick and just helpful in every way The ambience of this place is terrific. It’s over 100 years old and it’s a true round house I understand there’s only two of them left in the United States. Walter Payton made it into a great restaurant and I guess these guys bought it from them.

Everything was great. The food was good. The service was good. The only thing I didn’t like is I would not want to be seated upstairs because I had a broken arm and the lady where you check in told me you need to call instead of putting a note here on OpenTable so they couldn’t help me with sitting downstairs. I had to go upstairs so if you have someone in a wheelchair, your best call or you cannot eat there.

This place is incredible. First, the food is delicious. Everything is fresh and the flavor combinations can't be topped. Our server was spectacular, checking in on us at just the right times. We were surprised at the value when the bill came. It is exceptionally delicious food at a very reasonable price. I am already dreaming about going back!

Dined at Desi Accent on Sunday afternoon. Very pleased that there was a buffet available so that so many different dishes could be tasted and enjoyed. Everything was beyond delicious! Starting with the chicken soup- spiced and delicious. warm Naan brought to the table. The veggie samosa and vegetable pakora were a great start to our meal. The Butter Chicken , Tandoori Chicken and Aloo Gobhi were very flavorful. We went back for more! So many dishes to sample! Ending with pistachio kulfa and also a mango kulfi- fabulous. Cocktails were different and delicious. Service was efficient and friendly. The owner walked throughout the restaurant checking in with guests- nice touch. Prices are fair and reasonable. Definitely will be back!!!
