Best Historic Restaurants in Entertainment District

This was a wonderful experience. My wife and I went for our honeymoon, and the team at Enigma made a great effort to make it special. The food was amazing, the pairings were great, and the staff was probably the best part. The service was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The food was a wonderful expression of a combination of techniques and flavors that made this an all around fantastic meal. We have been to many Michelin starred restaurants, and they don’t always deliver. However I am dumbfounded that Enigma Yorkville only has one star. An absolute must visit, and for us an absolute must revisit.

Wow.. This restaurant left me and my partner absolutely at a loss for words. Before I begin HUGE shout out to the most amazing server I've ever met, Graham. He really curated our experience and brought a personal yet professional level of excitement to our dining experience. Every dish was crafted with immense care and quality. The story behind the dishes and the flavour profile was nothing short of a immaculate dining experiences. Huge thank you to Chef Daniele for exceptional food and a wonderful conversation. We came with our family just before Christmas during the Christmas Market time. The restaurant was busy but not overcrowded. we were welcomed quickly and shown to our table. We were a large group -7- but our table had plenty of space and was not cramped. Our food arrived quickly and all of us enjoyed our food. My son-in-law loved the Beef Tartare and the Oysters. He had some concerns about recent evidence of tainted oysters in other locations but our waitress was able to explain which types of oysters had been gained and to reassure that none of those oysters were served at Cluny. The Black Cod en-Papilotte was also described as delicious -spicy but not too much, interesting. Two of young men had Flat Iron steaks and pronounced them perfectl! Cluny felt like a special place to dine and they did not disappoint . A very enjoyable meal in a lovely setting.

Noah's vision for revitalizing this mainstay of Queen Street is a resounding success. The interior finds a niche right in the middle of cozy and classy, with thoughtfully designed walnut wood booths, 2-tops, gloriously quirky art, and a gorgeous bar. Service is always personalized and impeccable, even when they're buried in the middle of a dinner rush. The food is hearty, delicious, and has a range of prices for most budgets The menu hasn't changed a ton over the past few years, but its truly difficult to improve on a selection that can feed even the most challenging palate and stomach. The best restaurant in that area bar none, and one of the most criminally under celebrated bistros in the city.
