- JJeffSan Diego •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoFrom the second we we arrived at this charming local restaurant we were completely taken care of. The service was spectacular, but the food is the main attraction. We had the Mushroom Polenta Bites, Risotto with Prawns, Beef Cheeks, and the Hot Mess for dessert. They were all amazing, especially the Beef Cheek. Make sure you order the Sourdough Bread with the Kale Pistachio Pesto Butter and Black Sea Salt. We had two orders. I woke up this morning craving that bread.More infoLovinaPrice: Expensive• American• Calistoga•4.8

- MMarkSan Francisco Bay Area •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoJohn’s Grill is one of my most favorite restaurants in SF. The staff are efficient and friendly. The ambiance is great, and I enjoy taking first-timers to this gem. The food is great, and my favorite is Jack LaLanne seafood salad with a glass of Chardonnay. Steaks and pasta dishes are great too! Make a toast or two to Hammett, Bogart, Astor, Greenstreet etc. Save a bit of time to check out The Maltese Falcon and other film noir items upstairs. Enjoy the day!More infoHistoric John's GrillPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown / Union Square•4.7
- KK'Le MaySan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoThis was my second time dining at Gatehouse. Our server, Elisha, welcomed us and made our entire night. The service was outstanding, and answered all our questions with ease. Each course looked and tasted beautiful. The highlight dish for me was definitely the Butternut Squash Agnolotti. Second to best was the dessert, Chocolate Budino. Props to all the culinary students putting in hard work.More infoGatehouse Restaurant at The Culinary Institute of AmericaPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• St. Helena•4.7

The service staff were helpful. It was easy to make a reservation for our party of 10.More infoThe SaintPrice: Moderate• American• St. Helena•4.3
