We're a bit like our hometown: sophisticated, well-traveled, but grounded in our roots. We believe there's nothing more important than taking time to dine well with family and friends in a beautiful space. And we have a passion for all things Bluegrass - curing our meats in-house, supporting the region's diverse farming and food community, and keeping a local-first mindset in everything we do. Epping's is located in a renovated historic building that once held Epping Bottling Works, home to the hustle and spirit of local entrepreneur John G. Epping. Today, we are proud to honor that history and be part of the energy of downtown Lexington's Warehouse Block.

A cozy ambiance made me feel at home. Our server was jovial and personable without being over-present. The wilted brussel sprout salad was a delectable starter. We both enjoyed our drinks, an amazing wine selection that would impress a connoisseur and of course our main dishes delighted our palettes. Reasonable prices for a fine dining experience. Noise level was ever so low and we conversed with ease. I look forward to our next visit!

One of the best meals I’ve had in a while! We started with a lemon basil salad, and to drink we had a White Peach Sangria and an Apple Cider Spritz. For dinner my husband had the Mediterranean Chicken, with a side of the soup of the day (Southwest Beef & Veggie) and heirloom carrots. Tasty and huge portions. I had the special, which was a halibut served over mashed potatoes and delicious crab bisque—it was out of this world!! The special also came with two sides, I chose the whipped sweet potatoes and the corn pudding, both yummy. Cozy, romantic atmosphere, and phenomenal service!

Not what we expected driving into the parking lot or necessarily walking in the front door, but boy oh boy did the food and service MORE than deliver! Fantastic food with every course and our server was wonderful and thoughtfully attentive. The specials were slightly overpriced, but again zero issues with the quality and presentation. Do yourself a favor and grab a bite of your anywhere nearby, you won’t regret it!

What can I say. Creative takes on traditional dishes, the small plates are absolutely amazing! As a foodie I've been privileged to have had some of the best dishes from some of the most acclaimed restaurants and I have to say I was blown away! I'd recommend 4 small plates to share. That way you can experience multiple dishes. Portions are perfect for two. We had the mushroom bruschetta, crab cakes, beef takaki and Brussel sprouts. Be sure to start with one of their drink specials from the bar or a glass of wine from an extensive wine list. And half price drinks at happy hour if you get there early. Officially our new favorite restaurant in Lexington!
