Best Historic Restaurants in Mendenhall

Had an amazing time for our first experience at The Back Burner. Diana was quick to ask if it was our first time & once we said it was she talked us around the menu. Telling us that they sell crazy amounts of the “better cheddar”, you get a great amount of flatbread which has a homemade pita chip vibe. We had the crab bisque which was so good my fiancé almost forgot to share any with me! We split the wedge salad, which was so refreshing. He got the short rib and I got the salmon Wellington. We had to get all that bagged up so we could try out some dessert. We got the raspberry crème brûlée, it was so tasty.

This was one of our many visits to La Fia and they never let us down. Friendly staff amazing food and drinks and our server Lindsey who 99% of the time serves us is by far one of the best servers we have ever had anywhere. We are leaving the area soon to travel the country but will be back to enjoy again. On but wait, the valentines menu was out of this world!!!!!

This was our first time at Banks but it will not be our last. We had read about the good restaurants on the Riverwalk and just decided to try Banks for our first visit. The service was perfect, not rushed but just a nice pace for our meal. The food was amazing. Our waitress suggested the tuna and it was absolutely perfect. We sat in the bar section and were very surprised at how nice and quiet it was. I would like to go back in the warmer months and get a table out in their patio.

My husband and I celebrated our 5year anniversary last night and chose to spend it at the winery at grace inn. We always have an exceptional time. The food is amazing, I had the lamb meatball, beet raviloi, and ube pie; my husband got the wedge salad, hangar steak, and an affogato. Even the service was a 10/10, Candido was very attentive and explained all of the food and wine for the wine pairing option we chose. We also love the tasting room and have been there on several occasions. The wine, food, and service never disappoint.
