The Manhattan iteration of the Brooklyn based pizzeria centered around a historic brick oven and comforting food. Emily has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies and award winning burger. The pizza here is rectangular (not round) and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy brown exterior. Beyond the main event, the menu extends to include salads and sandwiches, which shouldn't be ignored (think an attention-grabbing burger and a top-notch spicy fried chicken sandwich). Beautiful restaurant with excellent service. The historical elements of the space make it special and interesting. For example, we were seated at a table beside a showcase that contained the dueling guns of Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton. I loved that. The food was delicious, too!

Been here many times and of course view is outstanding- food okay. Today-Christmas- they did a fabulous job. Prices fixe menu was terrific. Selection excellent. Food tasted great. They didn’t skimp on anything. I was so impressed and surprised. They get an A +. For $79 a real winner. Service started out slow but got better.

What an amazing family dinner! We went because I’m an armcherry fan and Dax and Monica did us right! My 19 and 20 year olds enjoyed their EMMY burger and the chicken parm sandwich was a great alternate for people that don’t eat red meat. The vibe was on point and we were cozy as we enjoyed our first NYC family dinner together. The management was very friendly and super friendly and attentive. Oh the cheesy breadsticks were superb! Just go!
