Best Historic Restaurants in Bordon

The menu offers great choice and there are specials as well. The service was prompt and friendly. It was a very cold night but the room was comfortable. Really great restaurant.

Really lovely roast dinner and lady running the bar was very pleasant. Would definitely recommend a visit.

We dined here recently and the food is excellent. I had Venison with potatoes and my partner had the steak with chips and salad. We had the artichoke soup as the starter and my partner had a dessert (I can’t remember now which one but it was lovely). The waitresses were very polite. The reason for the 4 stars is that we another couple sat behind us had ordered similar to us but were served before us. When we were sat at the table before them.

We arrived for a family Sunday lunch. There were 7 of us and we arrived slightly early but this was no trouble and we were seated a few minutes early. Service was good - and the Sunday roasts were great with plenty of vegetables and giant Yorkshire Puddings. Very very good.

I wish we could give the service 10 stars - the staff are that good at the Wild Carrot. Thank you!
