- AANTONIJAChicago / Illinois •5 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoIt was a delightful discovery! The ambiance was warm and cozy, with an impressive buzz of people passing through, talking, and socializing—yet we still enjoyed our privacy at a corner table. The red wine was excellent, the beef tartare (always my go-to choice when available) was fresh and flavorful, the truffle fries were perfectly crispy without being overpowering, the beetroot salad was refreshing, and the mushroom pizza was simply delicious. I must also highlight the dessert and the tiramisu martini—they were the perfect start and finish to our meal. We had a fantastic time and will jump at the first opportunity to return. A special shoutout to the kind and attentive manager Michel and our wonderful server, Tina, whose attentiveness made the experience even more memorable.More infoThe Allis- Soho House ChicagoPrice: Moderate• American• West Loop•4.3
- RRussvipChicago / Illinois •26 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoOne of our top meals of the year. Make no mistake, Jinsei is a fine dining establishment that just happens to be in the fun and casual confines of CH distillery. Best of both worlds. Zoe is a master of the menu so we let her guide our group (including my vegetarian wife) through the menu. Apps included oysters, lions mane mushrooms, crudo, tuna w crispy rice. The rolls were fantastic and their special vege roll was a standout to the whole table. Even the edamame was unique and savory. Then came the nigiri which included selections from their onsite fish aging lockers. Think medium fatty tuna with shaved truffles and marinated salmon. Pair this with drinks from one of the best cocktail and sake bars in the city and a shot of Malort to end the meal and it was a fantastic evening with friends. Thanks so much to the spectacular team!More infoCH Distillery | Jinsei MottoPrice: Very Expensive• Sushi• West Loop•4.8
- OTOpenTable DinerChicago / Illinois •3 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 18, 2024What a gem! Asador Bastian totally knocked it out of the park. Our server, Yousef ( potentially spelling his name wrong), was fantastic - super friendly and really knew his stuff. His recommendations were perfect for our dinner. We started with their Tortilla Española, which was a great way to kick things off - light but packed with flavor. The arroz cremoso that came next was incredible - the flavors were spot on. But the real showstopper was the Akaushi beef, cooked exactly how we wanted it, paired with these amazing bone marrow potato purée that I'm still thinking about. We wrapped up with a delicious cheesecake that hit all the right notes. The whole experience, from walking in to walking out, was just perfect. Can't wait to come back and try more dishes! If you're thinking about going - just do it. You won't regret it!More infoAsador BastianPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• River North (Chicago)•4.7
