Best Historic Restaurants in Doylestown

Bucks County needs a venue like Frost. Site is tiny which is great except when you are seated near loud, obnoxious guests. Prices are high, yes. But most reviews fail to understand that there is no cover or music charge. Cocktails are crafted perfectly. The tapas were outstanding, the main entree just ok. They recognized my wife's birthday which spoke volumes because it means they read the notes left for the restaurant which are usually overlooked. Nice work. Well worth a visit. We will return

First time here and we will be back- awesome server and really delicious food. Also absolutely loved our booth in the bar area. Great atmosphere.

The mashed potatoes were a bit too salty, but otherwise, the meal was excellent. Our server, Conor, took great care of our table. This is a great place for special occasions. I would also recommend the Pineville Tavern for a regular meal. By the way, the side dishes on the Christmas menu were mostly potatoes. This may have been the best way to handle holiday dinners. The food is always excellent, with innovative twists. The service was great, the staff is always pleasant, and you're never rushed. Brunch today, but lunch, dinner, or just drinks, a trip to The Water Wheel is NEVER a disappointment!
