The Cellar is the perfect setting for an intimate and romantic evening of fine dining. In 1969, artistic craftsmen of Disneyland fame created a romantic rendezvous in the cellar of the old California Hotel. Intimate and cozy, the dining room is elegant amid structured arches and cave-like walls that are deecorated with wine casks and silver lanterns. Culinary excellence abounds with only the finest and freshest foods prepared in a lighter version of classical French cuisine and finely crafted cocktails which set a benchmark for all of Southern California! New-American fare | Craft cocktails | Bold flavorsNavy Proof Food & Spirits re-awakens the jovial ritual of the sailors of our past, swapping maritime stories over the rationed spirits they held so dear. “Navy Proof” was a term coined by sailors for the daily rum rations given to them by the British Royal Navy in the 1700s. The historic tale says that the sailors would “prove” the strength of their rum rations by pouring it on gunpowder & igniting it to ensure it had not been watered down.Experience new-American fare and craft cocktails with bold flavors. Each dish emphasizes technique and texture to showcase the versatility of seasonal ingredients and locally-sourced seafood and meat.

I took my husband and kids out to celebrate Christmas Eve and possibly start a new family tradition. It’s such a beautiful restaurant and hotel. We were greeted by several friendly people at the front door. Our server, Shelly was excellent. It’s not as casual as it is described on the website but that was okay with me. However, it was more expensive than I expected. I read somewhere that valet parking is free for 4 hours but that is not true, perhaps it’s the garage parking that is free. Overall, I thought Nettuno was excellent and I look forward to visiting again.

My mother and I have been here 3 times. Each time it’s been a wonderful experience. The wait staff are always friendly, cheerful , professional and very attentive. The food is delicious. I ate meat from the carving station, seafood station, Mexican station, Asian station, breakfast station, and all the other stations in between hahaha. They have a live band and beautiful singer. I noticed the guest were smiling; ). Everything was spectacular!!! We will go again!
