Drawing upon the rich history of Milwaukee’s craftsmanship we present, Craft. The history of Milwaukee dates to the early 17th and 18th centuries when traders first began to travel through and eventually settle in what is now Milwaukee. Deep European roots brought craftsmen and skilled hands to the area and to this day an ethic of hard work and determination inhabits the spirit of the city. Early on the area was full of coopers, butchers, shoemakers, and farmers. Milwaukee’s beer history started in the 1840’s, driven by the presence of the frontier settlement near the Great Lakes. 2nd time here. First time everything was spot on. This round the flavor profiles were not my cup of tea. I had the whitefish in a broth. The fish was delicious, but the broth was too citrusy. 2 of the 3 appetizers had interesting profiles but were also not the right balance for my perhaps unsophisticated tastes. The menu changes frequently, so I did not get the best week for my tastebuds.

I was so pleased with our recent visit. I took my leadership team out for a gratitude lunch and each of us were so happy with all the aspects of our experience. The food was delicious and exceeded expectations. The space was clean and welcoming. Best of all was our server who did a fantastic job. Go to Mallards and remember to support our local restaurants!!!
