- MMichaelVancouver / British Columbia •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoGreat flavours and great ambiance. The cod and braised beef dishes were our favourites. We also enjoyed the slaw. The octopus carpaccio was very spicy; maybe too much. We devoured the molten chocolate cake, which was one of the best. The dessert sampler of all-time favourites was also enjoyable and a nice mix of flavours The portion sizes were better than expected. One of the most memorable meals we’ve had in years. Would definitely come back.More infoLeePrice: Very Expensive• Global, International• King West•4.7

We had the Caprese salad to start, which was incredible, if I had any critique of it, could have used a bit more balsamic glaze there were more than a few bites without any glaze on the tomatoes at all. As well, the tomatoes were so large that there wasn't even a 40/60 split of cheese to tomato which I think is the perfect ratio for this salad, who doesn't want cheese in every bite? The steaks were phenomenal, no question, can't go wrong. Almost so good, it is a wonder they don't put the main entrées in appetizer format so people would actually order them. The duck fat fried French fries were tasty, but I did find a lack seasoning to them. I found myself putting the steak salt into the ketchup just to add some seasoning to the fries due to how thick each fry is, not sure if that is intentional but just an observation. I would consider asking kitchen to salt the fries with any of the 3 salts before it gets to table so they can hold the seasoning better being fresh out of the fryer. The lobster Mac n cheese was excellent, period. Creme Brulee for dessert was delicious the berries were fresh and the cream was delicious. Service was top quality, only critique is that I found it took the service longer than 5 min to initially approach our table for initiating drink orders. Not a huge deal, but was sitting there wondering "wow, I'm surprised we haven't been seen by a server yet" And maybe a minute or two later he showed up, so do with that what you will. All in all, I would definitely go back for a special occasion. 4.5/5More infoBlueBlood SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Midtown / Uptown•4.6

We were not rushed, but our server was pleasant , attentive and not intrusive. We had the filet mignon, cooked to perfection and the prime rib which was excellent. Definitely advise booking in advance as this is a very popular restaurant! Excellent value for money, I have had steaks at twice the price that were not this good. Definitely recommend this restaurant in Richmond Hill. Thank you!More infoThe Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Richmond HillPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Richmond Hill•4.6

My wife and I have been trying to get reservations for years and finally we were successful on the evening of our 35th Anniversary. From the Hostess to the servers Adam, Godwin and the AGM Johann, everyone were super attentive and provided great input about the menu options chosen. The Steak Tarta & French onion Soup, both developed tastefully with the perfect combination of herbs & spices and creatively presented. The Brome Lake Duck and poached pear a perfect combination of sweet and acid complementing the tender meat of the pine- glazed Duck. The Lamb Rack, tender and tastefully matched with the white port jus and charred broccoli, made for a mouth watering pallet. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening and ended it with a rich cappuccino and Black Forest gâteau which we romantically shared and now look forward to our next visit, hopefully soon.More infoCanoe Restaurant and BarPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Canadian• Financial District•4.5
