- KKatiaSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoLa Mar continues to set the gold standard for exceptional dining. The location is vibrant, the service impeccable, and the food nothing short of extraordinary. For our party of five, we indulged in an incredible array of dishes: - Pulpo Anticuchero - Anticuchos - Ceviche Tasting - Planchada a la Mar - Grilled Salmon - Chicharrón de Calamar - La Mar Pulpo - Tomahawk 40oz All paired perfectly with the refreshing Kola and Chicha Morada. This wasn’t the first visit for some of us, but once again, La Mar exceeded expectations. The speed and quality of service were remarkable, making the experience seamless and enjoyable. What truly sets La Mar apart is its ability to combine bold, authentic flavors with a modern touch, creating a dining experience that’s both comforting and memorable. From the tender, flavorful seafood to the perfectly grilled Tomahawk steak, every dish was a masterpiece. La Mar is more than just a meal—it’s an experience that leaves you planning your next visit before you’ve even finished.More infoLa Mar Cocina Peruana San FranciscoPrice: Expensive• Peruvian• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.8

The food was more than delicious, it was mouthwatering. View of the bay is spectacular! Oh yes, he asked if we were celebrating any special occasion. We were out celebrating a birthday and anniversary. He surprised us with two tasty brownie bites. Trust me, dine here and you will not be disappointed.More infoWaterbarPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.6
- GGeorgevipSan Francisco Bay Area •27 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoHave not beento Horatio’s in many yrs. Went for an early Thanksgiving meal. Service was very good. Our servier was friendly and very prompt with all items ordered. As for the food, well prepared, and tasty. We hade seafood entrees, sea bass and past with seafood. Both were very good. Pricing was low compared to all other restaurants in the area and cost to value excellent. For two adults, entrees 2 drinks each, soup or salad, desert, coffee toatal $14 and change before tip. For a quality Holiday meal in the SF Bay Area, a bargain. A nice experience and we will go back for non holiday meals in the future. Located at the now closed but cleaned up Marina, very quiet and plenty of close parking.More infoHoratio'sPrice: Moderate• Seafood• San Leandro•4.6
- BBrandonToronto / Ontario •6 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThe ambiance was great, however there was a noticeable delay between our starters and entrees coming out. We ordered oysters - which were fresh, baked cheese and warmed olives, and the focaccia was deliciously herby. Swordfish, duck, and two steak frites were ordered as mains, all arrived together however the fries were dry and cold (as compared to the steak on the same plate). Overall the food and drinks were delicious.More infoForeign CinemaPrice: Expensive• Californian• Mission District•4.8
